A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Biography
My name is Virginia Rodriguez. I was born in New York City. Growing up I was always interested in the arts and was a dedicated art student which I continued to pursue in College. I have an Associates Degree in Pattern-making from Fashion Institute of Technology. I am a freelance Photographer & Videographer. My day to day job is working at Mount Sinai Hospital, as an Operating Room Surgical Technician for 30 years.
My passion is Photography in both Fashion and Dogs. I attended New York Fashion Week in 2023, March at Art Hearts Fashion and in September at Runway 7 Fashion. Besides Photography, I love Videography. They can be seen on my social media platforms.
My second love is Animals, especially dogs, as I'm a proud dog Mom. This is what drew me into Dog Photography. I created my handle on social media as VCR DOGrapher , www.instagram.com/vcr_dographer. I also volunteer in rescue. As a freelance Photographer, I have covered Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, AKC Dog Shows, Celebrity Catwalk, and Tompkins Halloween Dog Parade to name a few. Let's not forget the infamous, New York Pet Fashion Show which use to be held at the Historic Hotel Pennsylvania in Midtown Manhattan.

My Work
Photography allows me to capture and preserve memories, tell stories and express myself in creative ways. As an artist, I have a keen eye for composition, lighting and storytelling. Always looking forward to working with new clients on a new project utilizing my creative expertise.
